Export and Trade

PURE & HEM controls, markets, and exports hazelnuts and hazelnut products from traditional and organic agriculture. We source hazelnuts and hazelnut products from certified suppliers in relevant origins. The selection of the best origins is based on our customer's specifications and our expertise, ensuring the procurement of both regionally sourced nuts and international raw materials. Additionally, through our operations in Giresun, we create planting contracts with growers, providing early protection in markets with limited supply. The processing of hazelnuts occurs at our facilities in Giresun.

Our Products

We offer our suppliers a range of products, including natural hazelnuts, roasted hazelnuts, blanched hazelnuts, chopped hazelnuts, hazelnut flour, sliced hazelnuts, and hazelnut paste, in addition to traditional quality

We import all types of hazelnut kernels (14/16, 13/15, 12/14, 11/13, 11/12, 10/12, and 9/11) and semi-finished products (0.6/0.7, 0.8/1.2, 1/3, 2/4, 3/5, 4/6, 5/7, 7/11, and 8/12) by quality standards.

Hazelnuts are used in approximately 80% of the chocolate industry (in chopped, sliced, and ground forms) and in biscuits, confectionery, pastry, and ice cream production. The annual global consumption of hazelnuts in chocolate and biscuit manufacturing exceeds 300,000 tons. Hazelnut flour is a critical ingredient in chocolate products.
