Walnut Varieties

Blanched Walnuts: These are walnuts that have been completely separated from their shells and brown skins, resulting in a bleached appearance. They are often preferred in baking and confectionery due to their aesthetic look and softer taste.
Halves: This refers to walnuts that have been split into two equal halves. They are especially used for decorative purposes and are ideal for cakes, desserts, and salads.
Quarters: These are walnuts that have been divided into four pieces. They are suitable for both decorative and culinary uses and are preferred in recipes that require smaller and more uniform pieces.
Pieces: These are smaller and irregular walnut fragments. They are commonly used in baking, granola, yogurt, and salads.
Natural Walnuts: These are unprocessed walnuts with their shells removed but still containing their skins. They are sold in their most natural form and have the highest nutritional value.
Light Walnuts: This type includes walnuts with lighter-colored sections. They are generally more expensive due to their aesthetic appeal and high quality.
Amber Walnuts: These walnuts have a slightly brown hue. Apart from the color difference, they are similar in taste and nutritional value to other varieties.
